Allocations Vs Expenditure Adjustments / Cross Charge Functions in Projects.

Hi Frns,

Can someone please let me know the difference between the allocations and expenditure adjustment (transfer) and allocations and cross charge functionality.

I want to understand why 1 should use Allocations functionality available in projects, when we already have adjustment and cross charge option availlable.

If any document/white paper available will be very helpful or provide some examples for allocation.
