RLM - Clarification on Processing Rules

In order to resolve issues with ATS PreHorizon Disposition Settings, wherein I changed the setting from Remain on File to Cancel after N Days.  This was pursued because the Customer dropped past due request dates, or just increased the next future request date quantity by the past due date quantity to account for required firm demand.  However, if not needed as Past Due, the OM LINes stayed in Awaiting Shipping Status and effectively 'Remained on File".  The clarification here is in the number of days to enter into the processing rule.  If I place a "3" in the Number of
