Return and Corrections against a Cencelled PO

 This is basically an issue discussed in enhancement Bug 768091 also

Can we do a return for items received previously, before the PO was cancelled. As per the documentation and our understanding once the PO is cancelled , the system does not allow you to make any changes.

So if we want to return previously received items, what options do we have ?

Is there any workaround ? We are on 11.5.10 and are using core PO module, if that matters,
