Need Help With Advanced Benefits
We have a user who is requesting the following:BCBS tape needs to reflect one day after date of termination or death. The BCBS system ends coverage at 11:59 PM the prior day, so in order to cover any claims incurred on the termination date; one day needs to be added, Termination date + 1
Life event set up adjustment to reflect for both retirees and actives termination date +1 In Researching this, we found under the Life Event Reason (Death of Participant), there is a field called "Occured Date of Determination". Under this drop down, there is a list of of terms form which to choose from that feeds into the BCBS tape transfer that is sent to Blue Cross Blue Shield. There is one that includes a "Recorded date". My logic is that if the user enters a "recorded date" the tape would feed what ever date is recorded in the system. My question is where would the "Recorded Date" field be housed?Thank you,Brittany
