FAH- Usage as a accrual calculation engine

One of our prospects is currently under implementing FAH R12.1.3. The requirement is to use FAH for accrual calculations in addition to using this as a acounting rule and subledger system.

Their current process, they have source files which they get the accrual amount. Now based on the accrual amount, many business rules need to be applied as  a formula, tax rules need to be applied as well to get the final accrual amount. They also have account configuration rules.Then these are passed as journal entries to the GL system

We are emphasising that FAH is intended as the single source of accounting rules, for journal entry generation and balances. It can also do, automaric accrual reversals and rules are very easily configurable
