Event "Transactions" in 11G RAC database

Hi

  Sometime back, we observed performance issue in one of the instance of 4 node RAC database. While analyzing, we found that there was one event "transaction", which was causing the issue. After taking bounce of the DB instance, issue got resolved. I tried to google search as well as on Metalnk, I could not be able to find any info related to this event.

  If any one has some clue for this event, pl share the info
