Decimal Point for Quantity...

 Hello.

We have complex manufacturing routings where quantities of ingredients and co/by-product are in decimal points. For example, 1.208 kgs, .33 meters, 3.02 Litres.

JDE does not allow decimal point in quantity and I am aware that we can achieve the objective by providing UOM conversions. However, production recipes will look very unreadable like 1208 gms, 330 millimetres, 3020 ml.

JDE knowledge-base provides a way to change display decimals in DD, but Oracle Support clearly states that risk is of clinet's and change will not be supported.

Any other way that anyone suggest?

Regards,

Niranjan
