Using MS Active Directory for Net Naming

We currently have our users configured to point to a central tnsnames.ora file held on a network drive. 

I am looking to migrate to use MS Active Directory for this purpose, have found 1 white paper but was wondering if there is any other information/guidleines/suggestions out there ?
