Regarding Batch Step insertion and dependency creation - Need API

Hi All,

We have a requirement to insert a new batch step into a WIP/Pending batches and create dependency between the existing and new steps as well. Please let us know if there is any API to do the mentioned activity.

1. Is there any API to insert new batch step into a batch?
2. If yes, how do we remove dependencies between existing steps and create dependencies based on the new step inserted?
3. Can we insert batch step for a completed batch? If yes, how can we achieve the same?

Please note that we are looking for API to perform the above mentioned activities.
