Custom AWE

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help.  I am trying to create a custom AWE with email collaboration.  I have done all the setup for IB and can get a delivered process (purchasing requisition) to work including all the email approvals. 

My problem is with my custom process.  I have used the purchase requisition to copy overto my custom process and custom app package.  The first email is sent requesting approval, but my incoming emails are not updating the awe step status and moving the process on to the next approver.  I know the emails are picked up in the EOAWEMC process, but the approval update is not happening.
