Can I apply archive logs to a full backup that is earlier than a recent full backup.

we are on Oracle 10.2.0.3 enterprise edition 64 bit on windows.

I have a full backup taken on 06/06/2012 at 10:15 pm.

I have archive log backups taken every 15 minutes daily.

I have another full backup taken on 06/07/2012 at 10:15 pm.

I am performing a full recovery test onto another server.  I want to do a point in time recovery to 06/08/12 11:30 am.

I already have the 80+gig full backup of 06/06/12 to the other server.

And i have copied all archive logs (06/06/12 starting around 9:00 pm until 06/08/12 around 1:30 pm).

Instead of spending 3+ hours to copy the 06/07/12 full backup over to the other server, I tried to just do a point in time recovery without it and I get errors about logs missing.

Howdy, Stranger!
