Report on browser has non-working SEND button

When a report is directed to browser in SIM, the report page displays the "SEND" button by default. This button is there to select the destination e.g. the printer. We noticed that on clicking this button a popup is shown which shows the following error:
"Unauthorized Access: Either you do not have the privilege, or you have not signed in"

However if we sign-in to bi-publisher in browser and then hit the Print in SIM application, the send button is able to work properly by displaying the available destination options.
Has anyone faced this problem and/or have a solution so that the send button can be used without the need of the user being asked to explicitly sign-in.
