Logical standby on AIX or Linux while primary on Solaris Sparc

 I'm looking for anyone who has practical experiance with the below configuration:

Primary database is 10.2  on 64-bit Solaris Sparc (with Big Endian format). We plan to create a logical standby database on either AIX 64-bit (Big endian) or Linux 64-bit (Little endian). Wwe don't have any Sparcs available to create our standby on them.

Has this configuration any chance to work in practice? Oracle note Data Guard Support for Heterogeneous Primary and Logical Standbys in Same Data Guard Configuration [ID 1085687.1] says this in not a supported configuration.
