R42950 called from R42800 ends successfully with no data selected message

We have confirgured to run R42950 (Sales cost / Xchange rate update) from R42800 (Sales update). However, when R42800 is submitted, R42950 ends successfully with no data selected message. But if we run R42950 directly from a web client, it is selecting the data as per data selection creitera setup in the version. We have built a package and deployed including all versions of both reports, but no luck. There are no batch security as well. What could be the problem?
