can $ORACLE_HOME be relocated?
Hello,
Need an advise if I can relocate the directory $ORACLE_HOME/dbs either by symbolic links or Environmant variables or any other mechanism?
Linux Administrators want to put $ORACLE_HOME on a read-only device..
The problem is the directory $ORACLE_HOME/dbs.
Apparently Oracle writes at start-up the files
hc_${ORACLE_SID}.dat
and
lk_${ORACLE_SID}.dat
in this directory.
By the way, is there no sgadef_* files anymore?????
Thanks,
Rehab
