Sales order cancel Error 'unable to save the changes as the corresponding internal requisition canno

Unable to cancel a sales order that is in Entered status and the internal requisition has 66 lines and this sales order is trying to cancel the line no. 63. Getting following error 'unable to save the changes as the corresponding internal requisition cannot be updated'
Pls advise.
