with 11.2.0.1, is the April 2012 critical update patch not required?

Hi - I see teh April CPU mentions release 11.2.0.2.  Am I to assume that if we are running the base 11.2.0.1 version, that I do NOT have to apply the CPU patch?  Cannot really find a definitive answer.  Obviously, no patch exists in the matrix, but shoudl I be concerned.  Should we be at 11.2.0.2 instead.
