Deleting journal entry

When deleting a journal entry before it has been posted how do those entries for the transactions show up in the subledger such as Fixed Assets?  We ran create accounting for Fixed Assets in Final mode and transferred to the GL.  Then the journal entries were deleted.  Can those journal entries be recreated through the sytem by re-running create accounting or do we have to do a manual journal entry?
