Inventory transaction Cost Collection/PJM question
For us to be able to use Move order issues to Projects in Inventory, do we need to configure the Inventory Organization as a Project manufacuring (PJM Organization parameters) enabled organization?
Unlike in "Miscellaneous issue to Project Transactions", the Move Order issue to Project screen does not give us the ability to enter the Expenditure type entry on the fly.
According to the User guide there needs to be an explicit association of Cost Element with the Expenditure Type for each of the Cost elements used. However, Oracle Inventory does not provide these setup screens. The Expenditure Type is greyed out in the Costing setup under Oracle Inventory Organizations setup. Presumably all setups need to be done in the PJM responsibility?? In other words PJM needs to be enabled?? Can anyone confirm this please?
