Eligibility Criteria values in the OTL Preferences

Hi OTL/HR gurus,

I would like to understand the Eligibility Criteria values in the OTL Preferences a bit better.
Unfortunately, I could not find any documentation on each of the values Eligibility Criteria Link By values.

The documentation only has the following;

To define eligibility criteria:
1. In the Preferences window, choose the Eligibility Criteria tab.
2. Enter a rule name to identify the eligibility criteria that will be tied to the node.
3. Select the node you wish to associate to the rule. This is the branch created on the Preference tab.
4. Select the criteria to Link By, such as organization or location.
