Expediting Supplier

Hi,Customer wants to contact supplier when 50 % of delivery period is over .
The promised date is 1-Aug and order date is 1-Jun, then Buyer wants to call Supplier on 1-Jul to get a status.

The PO Status report is only for Blanket and planned PO and does not give a notification on this date.
Generating Alert is a solution.

Is there an Oracle Report that will give this kind of status report
