Using BI Publisher to output checks but MICR font used in template NOT in PDF

We created a check template using BI Publisher, installed the MICR font to be used in Word during the design period, but when outputting the checks in PDF using the template designed in Word the MICR font does not appear in the PDF file.

How can we get the MICR font to appear in the PDF file to print our checks?
