R11 Integrated SOA Gateway

Env:   Oracle ERP 11.5.10.2 (9iAS Application Server)

We want to publish some PL/SQL & Java APIs as web services in R11. We do not have built-in like R12 Integrated SOA Gateway in R11. Do we have any work around in R11 to enable & publish web services. I also saw metalink note: How Can I Expose E-Business Suite Integration Interfaces as Web Services? [ID 782455.1]

Please help me in finding similar note or case studies or your experience in R11 SOA implementation.
