Error when trying to create a standard recurring journal entry

Hi,

Error received: "you entered a parent account that does not belong to a summary account. Choose a detail account or valid summary account".

I receive the above error after selecting an account in the 'formula' section of the Journal entry lines form when trying to create a recurring journal entry.

I am not sure how to rectify the error.

Any help would be appreciated.
