Cursor Position

We have discovered a number of applications that show a cursor in 8.11, but do not in 9.0.  For example, Standard Voucher Entry - Supplier Ledger Inquiry (P0411|ZDE0001) defaults a cursor into the Supplier Number field in 8.11 but in 9.0 no cursor shows.  Is this new functionality or is there something we can do locally?  The tab stops and code are the same in 8.11 and 9.0.
