Debrief - Reporting Repaired Materials without Inventory Adjustment - Is it possible?

As part of debrief process, we want to be able to enter not only the materials that are consumed/returned, but also the materials that are actually repaired.

Is it possible to report the materials that are repaired without they being in inventory (sub-inventory) and without having the inventory incremented/decremented.
This is not for reporting the labor hours, but just for understanding the materials that have been repeatedly requiring repair!

If this cannot be accomplished using debrief, is there any other Oracle functionality that will allow to capture this as part of Service Request.

We are on Oracle 11.5.10.2.
