What is the purpose of AUTOMATIC OFFSET Payables Option if the actual accounting needs SLA to be to

Hi there,

I have found that whether you enable or disable AUTOMATIC OFFSET in Payables Option, if your ADR is not defined properly to handle AUTOMATIC OFFSET, it doesnt work. In other words, if Payables option is set to YES but ADR is not setup, accounting fails. On the other hand, if Payables option is set to NO but ADR is set to handle AUTOMATIC OFFSET, it works.

So what is the purpose of Payables options now when we have SLA driving the functionality of AUTOMATIC OFFSET?

Any thoughts?
