em12c-based VMware vSphere Plug-in BETA Signup

Greetings Internal Oracle EM Community Members:

You are invited to register for participation in the Blue Medora EM Plug-in for VMware vSphere beta program. Details and capabilities of the EM Plug-in for VMware vSphere include:

  • Supports monitoring and management of VMware vSphere v4.1, v4.5, and v5.0 environments (Note: VMware ESX servers that are not managed by Virtual Center/vCenter are not supported by this version of the plug-in)
  • Supported on Oracle EM12c Bundle Patch 1 and above
  • Monitor critical VMware metrics (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network, etc) at the Datacenter, Host, VM, Cluster and Resource Pool levels
  • Minimal impact via “Agentless” approach requires no installation directly on VMware servers
