Can I use 11g RMAN tool to convert 10g datafiles?

 I have my database running in Oracle 10g, which I want to migrate from Linux to AIX.

Can I use 11g RMAN tool for converting the datafiles ( Note : 11g RMAN will be used for just converting the datafiles from the Linux format to AIX using TTS method, database will be still on 10g).
