Dear All,

We have an application running as a scheduled job that is taking very long to run....

The trace file for this process states the following:

'WARNING:Could not set the asynch I/O limit to 8192 for SQL direct I/O. It is set to 4096'

The wait state associated is:

db file sequential read, state is 'WAITING', the file# keeps on changing..... 

LONG OPS: Table Scan:  APGATESTATS.COMPANYSEARCHREFERALSTATS: 344518 out of 344518 Blocks done

Table Scan:  APGATESTATS.COMPANYSEARCHREFERALSTATS: 344518 out of 344518 Blocks done.

Locks: Type DML, Mode Held Row-X  TABLE=ADVISESTATISTICS.

Current statement is

INSERT INTO ADWISESTATISTICS (COMPANYID,.....

(Thiis does not change)..
