Getting the best ATP dates

Hello,

I am using an ASCP plan that uses Standard Pegging and is constrained by Enforce Demand Due Dates and Enforce Purchasing Lead-time Constraints.

I'm trying to get the best ATP date available for our sales orders. At any one time we will have hundreds of sales orders in Oracle and each day we receive more. The orders received can have request dates anything from today to three months into the future. When the orders are created they are scheduled using standard ATP functionality which gets the results from the ASCP plan.

As you know ATP in ASCP uses the available supply or when there is none the Infinite Supply parameter on the ATP Rule is used, i.e. Cumulative total lead time. Note: available supply is considered when performing ATP but only when there is not a recommendation to cancel it.

Howdy, Stranger!
