Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Is GRID Infrastructure required for non-ASM, non-RAC 11.2.0.3 database?

I have installed several 11.2.0.3 databases. All have been ASM and / or RAC.

I now have a need to install a non-ASM, non-RAC 11.2.0.3 database. Is GRID infractructure installation required for a non-ASM, non-RAC database?
