Two EDI related Peoplesoft questions

I have two quick questions regarding the ability to integrate EDI processes into Peoplesoft. Right now we exchange inbound and outbound transactions through a value added network service provider. The VAN transforms the flat files Peoplesoft produces into formats our customers can use and transforms their data into flat files that Peoplesoft can use. Part of the translation service the VAN provides is dependent on code lists that we are responsible for updating. The code lists are a cross reference of our location, product, and discount codes for those of our customer.  If our internal code for a product we sell is T400S
