behaviour when depreciate flag is turned back to YES

We would like to know if the way of adding the asset matters when toggling the depreciate flag back to YES. We observe differences in behaviour if the asset was added with no reserve versus some reserve. Here are the details:

Scenario I


1) Add a table based method asset with only cost and no depreciation with a back year DPIS

2) Add with depreciate flag = NO

3) run depreciation => no depreciation is calculated as expected

4) close the period

5) turn the depreciate flag to YES in next period

6) run depreciation

7) you will notice that the system catches the depreciation such that it is current on depreciation i.e from DPIS date to current period
