Memory usage issue

I am running both 11g repository db and OMS server from same server. Its a Solaris environment with 8G of physical RAM.The memory utilization metric is always above 94%. While creating repository db I guess oracle has allocated 40% of RAM
that is about 3280M. My question is there any Oracle document that talks about typical memory requirements for running
both repository db abd OMS from same server. Is it ok to downsize sga to a lower value.
