Determine a best strategy for migration 11i to R12

Hi Experts,

 

We are on E-Business Suite version 11.5.10.2 with Database 10.2.0.4 on Linux 32 bit (RHEL 4.8), and planning to migrate EBS R12.1.3 with Database 11.2.0.3 on Linux 64 bit (RHEL 5.5 or higher). What is the best path of migration which involves minimal downtime and repeatable steps?

 

 I’m planning to proceed with following steps. Please advice.

1.       Upgrade database to 11.2.0.3 on Linux 32 bit.

2.       Migrate application to R12.1.1 on Linux 32 bit

3.       Move database from Linux 32 bit to Linux 64 bit (Same DB version)

4.       Install 64 bit R12.1.1 on Linux 64 bit and configure for 64 bit DB

5.       Patch application to R12.1.3

Also appreciate if you can advice about documents and other resources on above steps.
