Sales Order number missed

Hi Folks,

We are facing a typical issue in our system. Actually one of the sales order number is missed out and we are directly getting Order number 1510000974 after 1510000972. Sales order number 151%973 missed out some where. There is no history for this missing order number nor its in the base table. We can not find any data relevant to it from backend as well as front end.

We checked document squence which is automatic and is set fine. We also checked Processing constraints but Deletion is also not allowed for a sales order.

Request you to suggest some more option which we may missed out in our investigation.
