R12 - Assigning Subinventories

In R12 when the default "Active" status is created in the Material Status and becomes the default status for the subinventory field, are you able to make changes to the "Active" status? In other words, can you edit the following fields for the default "Active" status or do you have to create a new status?

"Include in ATP"

"Allow Reservations"

"Nettable"

The responsibility path that I am using is as follows:

(N) Inventory > Setup > Transactions > Material Status
