DFF Segments : Reuse old disables segments

Hi All...

Currently i need to define extra DFF segements in  Enter Journals: Lines DFF. However there not sufficient number of Segments left.

We have used up 8 segments, 5 segments are active ( enabled and dispalyed) and 3 segements are inactive ( disabled).These 3 segments were last used was 5 years ago.I am planning to reuse the segments.

Planning to rename the segment order , name and window prompt and associate new valuesets. Is this approach is fine or any more considerations to be taken care of before i do the changes.

Have checked that these 3 inactive segments are not part of any reporting or interfaces, any more consideration, please let me know
