Suppressing ATP check for certain Order Types and Customers

 Hi Gurus

Background: ATP has been enabled for an Inventory Org and for all items. 

Requirement: ATP check should not happen for everything but for certain order types and/or customers the ATP call should be suppressed. Using 'ATP Override' functionality may be tedious and time-consuming as there are  many orders for the Order Type in question. Suppressing ATP for certain customers is not a must but this is much needed for a few Order Types.

I know we can copy and change the seeded workflow definition to disable ATP_Check function and use that with the required Order Type, but wondered if there is a better way of doing it or if somebody already been through a similar requirement earlier?
