Restrict Asset Categories by Book?

I recently implemented a new asset book and create some new asset categories.  What I am wondering is whether the list of asset categories can be restricted by the asset book?  So for example, when creating manual additions for BOOK1, I only want the LOV to contain asset categories that have been defined for BOOK1.  Is this possible without any customizations?

Note:  FA: Security Profile is enabled on the responsibilities so I can only use specific asset books with certain responsibilities.
