Smart View Options Selection causes Excel to Crash

In Excel 2007 and 2010 on the Smart ViewTab when you select options, this causes Excel to crash. Not sure what setting the users have set in the options to cause this but I have not been able to recreate this issue.  Not sure if this is a setting in Excel or a the user selected something in the options screen that has bug in the selection to cause the option screen not to open. This is different then the Option/Formating error which we have identified already because the option screen does not even open. Some advice on what to do
