Hi folk,

We have dataguard setup between primary and DR sites.

We are planning to move our existing database files into ASM.

We plan to first convert the DR instance from DBF's to ASM, followed by Primary instance

The question is: Can we setup dataguard (logical standby) between NON-ASM instance (primary) and ASM instance (DR). If yes, what are the precautions that we need to take while we do this. If no, reasons of not doing so.
