Can 32 bit client connect to Oracle 64?

I'm pretty new to Oracle so please forgive me.

We are upgrading/moving from 10g to 11g on a new, clean Windows 2008 R2 64 bit server.  It would seem to be logical to install the 64 bit Oracle DB software on the server but most of our clients are still 32 bit Windows clients.  Are there any issues with mixing 32bit and 64bit?
