How to disable Document Category?

Hi all,

Please guide; how to disable/inactivate document category. I have found the way to give End Date on sequence assignment but in this way document category is available on Invoice to select. However system is not allowing to make entry after End Data date.

Is there any way to stop the document category to available on invoice?
