How do we deal with a gap in GL calendar

Hi,

As part of upgrade, we have a need to set up more than one ledger using the same calendar.  However, we noticed that one of the months in the calendar is not defined correctly and there is a gap.

We have opened a SR with Support but wanted to check with my colleagues if someone has come across this and have resolved the issue without a data fix.  The period is permanently closed.
