SAM-QFS 5.3 is released on June 27, 2012

The availability of SAM-QFS 5.3 was posted June 27, 2012 to My Oracle Support.  This means current customers under support for SAM-QFS are able to download the 5.3 release today. 

The major features of 5.3 software release include:

  • Support for native CIFS/SMB and NFSv4 connectivity with Oracle Solaris 11
  • Support for the Data Integrity Validation (DIV) feature of the T10000C tape drive. 

To download the SAM-QFS 5.3 software outside of My Oracle Support (MOS) use the following

    The Media Pack for SAM-QFS 5.3 can be found under the 'Sun Products'  product pack.
