Unnecessary validations are occurring in "Simple/Advanced Search". Need assistance to over this issu

 Hello,
Current Oracle Application version:
R12 (12.1.3v)

Description of Issue:
If tried to search for any of the existing records using "Simple/Advanced Search"' feature, glad that I'm able to filter them. Now each record has few MANDATORY fields and few optional fields.  Now when I search for any of the records that has one or more MANDATORY fields missing then the application will not let me to open it. In fact it throws an error that " ******, ******, and ****** fields missing ". 

Why?
Could someone let me know as why such validation is happening? Without opening the records I can't fill in the MANDATORY fields present in it.
