IMPDP Speed up while database migration

 I am transporting my database my Linux itanium 10g to AIX 6.1 11gR2 using Data pump. I am seeing options to reduce the downtime, as index creation while importing is taking too much time to complete. Can anyone help me on the below approach with the commands and parameters to boost performance.

1 .Create objects in advance.
2. Load data
3. Create indexes parallel
4. Run statistics

Any enhancement suggestions also, please.
