not in an open or future-enterable period

HI,

   Can some one assist me with my concern.

   Ive been running a customed program in Cash management which requires both AR and GL periods to be in open period.

   I have ran the customed request successfully and all the data that i have created which has a date of April 03,2012 was loaded in AR.

   But after requesting to open the May period of AR and Gl for testing purposes an error was encoutered when runnig the same customed request.

   "Not in an open or future-enterable period" is the log output.

   When checking both AR and GL periods it was in open status.
